In 2007, the quality and reliability of MSI metal and ceramic targets, coupled with outstanding customer service, have again proven by the industry recognition and awards in both domestic and international markets. MSI has received another Excellent Supplier Performance Awards in Quality of Service for the second times among the 55,000 other suppliers.

ADDITIONAL FACILITY
MSI has expanded its operations by adding an additional 50,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, located on 1400 Norton Road, near the original 30,000 sq. ft. facility, on the seven-acre land space. This new facility offers much needed manufacturing space for MSI and its divisions.
Our additional New Plasma Spraying technology will expand the capability to produce non-metallic and TCO Rotatable targets. MSI has also expanded its capability to produce Zn, Zn/Sn and In/Sn Rotatable base alloys.
NEW AutoCad INVENTOR SOFTWARE
In September 2006, MSI Engineering acquired AutoCad Inventor software. Inventor includes the latest AutoCad 3D parametric Solid Modeling package with enhanced Bill of Materials and Data handling utilities. Inventor also includes all of latest versions of AutoCad LT, AutoCad, AutoCad mechanical and AutoCad mechanical desktop. This software is fully compatible with and able to handle all of our customer requirements for AutoCad related services.

Materials Science International, Inc. has been supplying sputtering target needs and all the accessories to the glass, electronic and photo-voltaic industries since 1981. We are an ISO 9001:2000 certified company and have received numerous critical supplier awards from our customers.
We have added a line of Ceramic Targets to compliment our extensive, existing line of Metal Targets. Our machining capability is such that we regularly supply a full range of target assemblies up to and including the 3.8 meter Leybold and Airco 7200 Series (148") Sputtering machines, as well as the MRC and Singolis target designs to name a few.
In co-operation with our customers, our in-house design team has helped advance planar target efficiencies through innovative target design. These designs have increased target life, reduced change-out cycles and increased operating power capability for specific materials while utilizing existing Sputtering Machines.

Metals Recovery Services, LLC (MRS)
MRS has, as a subsidiary of MSI, enhanced our ability to supply 99.95% pure silver bullion through silver reclamation of photographic and x-ray fixer solutions.
