Declaration of California Proposition 65 Compliance:

In being Prop 65 compliant MSI has submitted the following :

Proposition 65 is a California law officially known as the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, approved by California voters in 1986. The purpose of Proposition 65 warning is to ensure that people are informed about exposure to such chemicals by the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.

MSI reviews the content declarations and/or certificates of analysis (COA’s) on the raw materials obtained from various suppliers, which confidentially disclosed chemical and material information used to produce MSI’s products.  From this review, MSI has determined to the best of its knowledge certain MSI Sputtering Targets may contain one or more of the chemicals on the Prop 65 List. Nonetheless, MSI products are intended for commercial industrial use in processes with appropriate equipment and level of PPE to protect against harm to those in that environment. MSI products are not intended to cause user exposure to any contained chemical/substance, nor are they intended to be released during product use.  To our knowledge MSI’s products are not harmful and are in the “No Significant Risk” range, under normal use conditions.  Since MSI has a business interest in California, MSI has elected to provide this Proposition 65 declaration on our website.
